switching Outlook Express to Microsoft Outlook

I am trying to change from using Outlook Express to using
Microsoft
Outlook, and it will send e-mails but not receive them.
As far as I can
see all the settings are the same as in Outlook Express.
On Internet
Properties/Programs I have changed E-mail to Microsoft
Outlook. In
Microsoft
Outlook/Tools/Accounts/Mail/Properties/Connection it will
not
connect if I click the explorer button only if I click
connect using my
phone line. Could the problem be there?
