Can someone please remind me how to add a short cut to "show desktop" to the
task bar please?
(OS Win XP)
And also how to delete "Recent Documents" from tine launch menu.
Oh, and while I'm here :-) - how to show the connected icon in the toolbar?

Hi,

Manual Edit:

Copy and paste the five lines below into Notepad.

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop

Then save it as Show Desktop.scf and drag it to your quick launch bar.

Automated Edit:

Restore/Add Show Desktop to Quick Launch (Line 61)

To remove Recent Documents from the Start Menu: Right click the Start
button/Properties/Customize/Advanced. To prevent Recent Documents from
accumulating:

Prevent My Documents and Recent Documents (Line 50)

Restore My Documents (Line 55)

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.

3) Right click My Network places and select Properties. Right click your
Network connection in question and select Properties. Enable the taskbar
