When I open the System Information page I get the
following message:

"Can't Collect Information
Access denied to Windows Management Information server on
this computer. Have Administrator change your access
permissions."

My question is how do I get the Administrator to change
my access permissions?

I use Windows XP Home Edition

the administrator can make you as another administrator. an administrator
may be the person with the "administrator" as his login name or any other
person which was made an adminstrator by the original administrator and thus
has administrator priveleges too.

hope that helps.
