Outllook will not remember passwords?

MS Outlook will not remember passwords fro email accounts anymore under XP.
Why is this ?
Is this a setting I can change somewhere or a 'feature' ?

Outlook Express keeps prompting for your password - Fix

This fix also applies to Outlook, other programs that store passwords=20
in the Protected Storage System Provider sub-branch of the Registry.=20
It also corrects some issues with Internet Explorer and AutoComplete.
