Network Connections Folder was unable to retrieve the list of Network adapters

Also, may be related, Explorer seems to take too long to
search system connections - problem seems related.

Any insight on to how to restore Network Connections
Folder immensely appreciated!!!

in Start/Run type these lines and hit ENTER after each line

regsvr32 netshell.dll
regsvr32 netcfgx.dll
regsvr32 netman.dll

This fix restored my missing network connections
immediately.
I found a confirm at http://support.microsoft.com/?
kbid=254631, but probably would not have made the edits
w/o your encouragement.
