I have a laptop using xp, and im trying to network it to
mydesktop using win 2000, my laptop connects using a
wireless connection, and my desktop connects through a
cat 5 plug from the hub. the mesage im getting
says "network wizard not supported on win 2000" how can
i join them together?

Configure win 2000's TCP/IP settings to obtain an IP address
automatically. Set its workgroup name to the same name that the xp
computer uses.
