Hi there,
On my computer (without doing something like opening internet connections and checking status), it is not clear, at any given moment, whether I am connected to the internet or not .
I find that I get disconnected from the internet without realising it, which can affect opening website pages and obtain downloads. Because of this, I would like an unmistakable internet connection indication which shows up whatever other applications are
open; how can I obtain this?
(Windows XP with Freeserve Anytime).

Thanks - please reply to my e-mail address below,
- Ian Hutcheson

Ian,

You can go to Network Connections in the Control Panel, view the properties
on your Internet connection when it is established, and have it 'show icon
in notification area when connected'.
