I have two XP computers (home and office).
I see that office computer undergoes automatic updating.
There were autoupdating on Monday and Tuesday (today).
But I noticed that there was no automatic updating on my home computer,
which set autoupdating.
I wonder what disabled autoupdating.

Hi Craig,
Check two settings:
- Control Panel/system/Auto Updates tab
- Start/run msconfig, check the services tab that Automatic Updates is
enabled

I checked both. Automatic updating is on.
But I definitely know that no updating/downloading is seen for the last one
week.
I think that autmatic update stopped about a week ago.
Could you please suggest me to look at other bottle necks?

Suggestions:
--Using the administrative tools, check that services related to Windows
Update and Internet Time checking are enabled.
--Visit Windows Update at least once manually. There is probably an update
to the Windows Update engine that you have to OK to install.
--Synchronize your time with the internet: double click clock in tray area.
On Internet Time page, click Update Now.
--Check that you have scheduled XP to download and install and that the
day/time selected has occurred.
