Shuts down unexpectedly

After upgrading to Windows XP Pro my laptop now shuts
down usually after about a couple of hours -- for no
reason. It doesn't even log me off it just completely
powers down. Why is it doing this???

Hi Sasha,

I can think of several possibilities.....

- Overheating
- Power management setting (check both Windows PM and the BIOS PM settings)
- Program failure (start/run eventvwr.msc and check the logs)
- Driver failure (are all your devices properly supported?)
