I installed the XP Home upgrade from ME and XP did not
place my programs or drivers on xp. I uninstalled my it
locked me out of my C: drive . I tryed to do a disater
recovery from my back up CD set but it would not let me
in to C. I finaly got a ME boot disk and reinstalled XP.
That's all it would let me do . Now I havce XP Home biut
I still don't ahve my promgrams or drivers or anything
else. I can go to My COMPUTER - C Drive _ and there
everything is all of it but XP does not see any of it .
What to do????? I would uninstall it but I will loose my
computer. It would not even let me reformatt my C drive.

Sounds like you installed XP on D drive and ME was already installed on
C drive. If so, you will have to install all programs and drivers on XP.
If you just wanted to replace ME with XP you should haver installed XP
on C drive and everything should have been ready to go in XP. (Maybe
some updated drivers would have been needed.)

I am not sure the best way for you to recover. I don't know what you
uninstalled. ("I uninstalled my it..." makes no sense.)

Regards, Hawkeye
