Shut down errors

[dandr]

When I try to shut down the computer there are always 2
programs that are not responding:

hpoevm08.exe
messageApp.exe

I always have to click "end task" for each of them before
the computer will shut down or restart.

Any ideas? I'd like to know what these programs are for,
or where I can get more info on them at least.

the HP OfficeJet K60 & G85 (hpoevm07) and HP PSC 2100 & 2200 (hpoevm08)
series of multifunction printers.

Thanks for the help. A quick visit to HP.com and I was
able to download the right program to fix this problem.
