Can MS Workd 4 work under XP

Just wonderd as it continuously comes up with out of memory messages and the
program often crashes in the middle of usning a task wizard. for example. If
I try to set up a new envelope it crashes when it gets told the size (No it
isnt too big :) )
It worked fine under 95 and 98 and I have set the XP to use the 95 and the
98 options and yet it still does it.
Typical of MS to have updated the system and by so doing killing of one of
my most used programs. Is there anything that can be done. I have a gut
feeling this is a video driver problem but dont know how that helps if there
is no support !


Can any MS gurus out there suggest anything. - dont say change the program
as I cannot afford the option. Any why? when the program is fine; its the
new OS that isnt.

Dear Nigel, Yes!
I use Works4 and it works fine under WinXP home Edition, I do nat
have to ask it to work as a Win98 or 95. How much memory do you have? I have
1 Gb..

I have 512mb memory installed. It frequently says out of memory although
there is hardly anything open and as I said it crashes on many tasks like
envelope creation. It did it under an earlier XP install as well. This is a
complete new install that it does it on so I feel that its driver related.
Although that could be a red herring.
