You guys are at least asking intelligent questions. I
have been using Macs for 20 years and just bought a PC
and am ready to tear my hair out. Any books you can
recommend on how to use Windows? Thanks.

The online help section is invaluable for new users.

I have heard that the WindowsXP for dummies is excellent
for helping new users.

Hi Pam,

As was mentioned by another user, the "dummies" series of books is good for
the new user.

I like "WindowsXP Inside Out" fora bit more detail.

Windows XP for Dummies (don't be cheap, get the thick one, it over 20
dollars but is the best because it covers so much. You should be able to
grasp most of it in a few hours.
