Hi

Tried to install 2 x screensavers from a CD which got with
Windows xp magazine (U.K.)August issue however when went
into the Display Properties to preview them (they are from
Planesoft) I got following error:-

No hardware-accelerated Direct3d devices were found. This
screensaver will now exit.

This message kept popping up even though I am sure I'd set
screensaver to none, so I uninstalled. Similar happened
when tried to install a game (Rosso Rabbit or something?),
was just about to run it and got similar error message.

Any ideas please ?

Tks

Hi Karin,

It means you need a 3D video card in order to run the screensavers or the
game. You either do not have one, or the one you have is not of high enough
specs to use for them.
