CD-RW drive problems. Supposed to happen?

Well, I reinstalled my os again, and after I did, whenever I put a cd into
my CD-RW drive, blank or full/originals, it always starts off with the mouse
getting stuvk on the desktop, then it freezes. does anyone know why this is
happening?

Try this:

Start>My Computer>Right click CD-RW drive>Properties>Auto-play tab>"Select
and action to perform"

It might be that the pop-up box that is supposed to pop-up has a bad link to
something somewhere.
