I have Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 with service
Pack 1. I am trying to connect with another computer in
my house using the same operating system. On my comuter
I cannot see a function for ICS in the Local Area
Connection properties setting under the advanced tab. I
can only see the firewall setting.
How can I set my network up?

Hi
ICS is for sharing an internet connection (broadband or dial-up) and you
won't see it until you have two NICS installed or one NIC & a modem.

The ICS option only appears when all of these are true:
1. There are at least two enabled, connected network connections: one
for the Internet, and one or more for the LAN.
2. The Internet Connection Firewall is disabled on the LAN
connection(s).
3. The Internet connection isn't bridged.
