I have been having this happen allot. Even items that
are MS. it will tell me it cannot open.
Tells me to choose the program that created.
I never know what programs to choose from.
As, an example, the phone tools that came with my computer, I went to click
on the read me file.
It couldn't open it.
The ext was wri. So, I read abit and decided that
notepad, ought to be able to open it.
It was.
However, why is there so many in XP that can't seemed
to be opened by Windows?
Is this a common problem? I haven't downloaded
all of the updates, out of fear it will throw
everything out of wack.
