Hello all. My WinXP HOme CD will not boot. When the system is up and
running, if I insert the CD it auto-runs fine. But if I shut down and try to
boot from the CD it keeps telling me not a system disk and will not boot.
Any ideas
Thanks!

Glen;
Is BIOS set to boot to CDROM before hard drive.
No floppy in floppy drive?
Watch carefully, message is only on a few seconds.
At "Press any key to boot to CDROM" quickly press a key.

Try a known good bootable CD.
Try this CD in another computer.
Clean CD drive and CD.

I set the BIOS to boot from CD, and get the error msg with the XP Home CD. I
put in my Win98 CD and it boots fine.
