Trash the built in winzip. Just download the evaluation
version at www.winzip.com. I've been using winzip eval.
for about 4 years now, upgrading along the way, and it
doesn't expire. The purchased version gives a few extra
features and gets rid of the "buy now" splash screen.
For general use, the free version is perfect. If you
want a less nagging program, do a google for a program
called IZarc. It's free, easy to use, and basically a
clone of winzip.
