I have an application program which used to fill the screen
nicely at 1024x768 resolution, and suddenly the right-hand
side one inch or so is truncated....lost in the right margin, cut off.
The raster is still full and clean, with the same very narrow black
border all around that it always had.

The information is there, and I can go to 1152x864 and run the
application, but I can't live with that small print for other general
uses.

Is there any way I can load the video drivers again, or whatever
it might be that needs restoring?

Don't know what brand monitor you have, however, most have buttons on them
that are used to 'stretch or shrink the image and center it.

Thank you, yes, this monitor does have such adjustments. And I
can use them to make the entire "picture" on the screen smaller.
And when I do, the INFORMATION I need is still cut off, just
as before, only now I have a 2-inch wide vertical black stripe
on both sides of the monitor face. Good try, solution to wrong problem.

Have you tried to resize the application window or run it full screen?

Sorry, Walter. I don't understand that suggestion at all.
As far as I know, I have no control whatsoever.

Those buttons also will enlarge the picture. You, ala your message, shrunk
the picture do the opposite and blow up the picture.
