I deleted my desktop shortcut on Quick Launch. I can
create a new desktop shortcut, but when I'm in other
programs and I want to get back to my desktop, it only
takes me to the folder view. How do I set it to take me
directly back to my desktop like it originally did?

Hi Michael,

Copy/paste the below into notepad, use file/save as, call it "show
desktop.scf", save to your desktop. Drag it onto the quicklaunch bar.

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=EXPLORER.EXE,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop

Have you tried WindowsKey D?

You can probably find the shortcut in the recycle bin. If it is there, right
click on it and select restore.
