I am adding a pc card to an IBM THinkpad 600 but it
doesn't remain loaded and does not recognize dv cable on a
Sony Camcorder. I assume upgrading the drivers is
appropriate next step, but cannot get access to the latest
drivers for the 1394. (v.2600)

I have 1394bus.sys 5.1.2600.1106.

Is a newer driver the answer?
If I keep the device manager open it says it recognizes
the host controller. If I add a cable to pc or camera it
attempts to load the 1394 net adaptor but then doesn't
actually give access.
