I have setup quite nicely my HP Media Center PC. I run
all my music, videos, and TV programs thru my stereo
amplifier so that I can hear it throughout the house.

My problem is that when we are listening to music or
music videos in the patio I have to constantly walk in
the house to use the remote control to change a song a
music video etc.

After seeing a SD demo version at Comp USA it seams that
the SD could be the perfect match for me. I am concerned
however that a slow wireless connection will give me a
delay effect between the image shown in the SD and the
sound comming out of muy Stereo speakers.

Has anybody had any experience in this arena? I will
appreciate your feed back

result in lisening to the music thru the speakers videos
and tv images will have a delay connection with a delay

between the computer an the SM would have a delay that
will be anoying hen
either use the remote control or my wireless mouse to
change tunes.

Does anybody now I am considering buying a smart display
because it justs seams the it will be the perfect way to
change tune from the patio whle perfect way to

Smart Displays do not do streaming video content well at this time.
The video would stutter. There is a separate newsgroup on this server
specifically for discussion of Smart Display devices. There are a
number of threads there on this very issue, you may want to browse the
smartdisplay group.
