I recently captured my first video from a dv Video camera
using movie maker 2. My camcorder's battery ran down
before the entire video was captured. Since this was my
first effort I decided to edit the video as I had
captured it even though it was not complete using the
auto edit. My question is that after saving the edited
video can I add the add the additional video that I did
not capture initially and add it to the end of the edited
video or would I have to capture the entire video from
the beginning? If I can how would I go about doing this?

Thanks

You do not have to recapture that which you already have saved. Capture the
remainder of the video with some overlap with the end of the old capture.
Find a transition point between scenes that you can identify on both clips.
Clip the first video at this point and delete the remainder in the
storyline. Clip the beginning of the second capture at the same point.
Delete the first part of the second clip. Place both good clips in the
storyline and save.

Not really a hard process if you know much about MM2 and practice makes
perfect.
