I have a Laserjet3150 that is working fine with my XP pro
system, also an HP computer. Problem is, that the 'found
new hardware' keeps coming up. I installed the printer
from the original CD and it's just fine. XP thinks that
it is something new because it's looking for
the 'Microsoft Certified' driver or something like that.
Well, this is an older printer and it isn't 'certified'
that the driver works with XP. (It works just fine).
How do I get rid of that message and how do I turn off
this 'certified' thing? I know with Windows 2000 there
was a setting that I could uncheck that would keep that
from happening. Not sure where it is in XP.
Thanks!
