I have a video in mswmm format from my sister's wedding, which the
videographer failed to convert to avi or mpeg.
I'm running Win98, so I don't/can't have MovieMaker. Is there software
I can download and run on a Win98 machine to do the conversion from
mswmm to something that can be read by Windows Media player?
Help is much appreciated........

The MSWMM file is the project file, with all the pointers to the source
files that were used to make the movie (still pix, video clips, music files,
etc.) It won't work without the source files, and no... nothing can edit or
use the file except for Movie Maker.

Thanks for the reply PapaJohn. Though it's disappointing news, it's
not unexpected and it saves me from d/l'ing, trying, and uninstalling
many programs uselessly.
BTW, you've got a very impressive website - I checked it out while
looking for a converter.
