Showing status of Dial Up Network

By using the Icon in systray can show DUN connection
status either as larger or smaller page/notice. The
smaller one "mini status" comes on the page each time I
connect and is a nuisance. How can I prevent it's
uninvited occurance ?

Hi,

This is called "Balloon Tips" in XP.

You can diable Balloon Tips via the registry (regedit):
HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> Microsoft Windows -> CurrentVersion
Change the DWORD at "EnableBalloonTips" from 1 to 0

To open Registry Editor, Click Start | Run | Regedit and press enter
