I have movies saved as WMV and DV-AVI files but I have
not been able to burn to a DVD (using either Nero or
Pennicale). I understand that there is a program called
Sonic MyDVD that will burn Movie Maker files to a DVD.
Does anyone know about Sonic? Does this program really
support Movie Maker files? If so, which Sonic program
works best? I have been trying to burn to a DVD for so
long now that I need some assurance that a Sonic program
will in fact do what I want it to do.

On my new laptop, Sonic MyDVD version 4 was installed. My first attempts to
burn DVDs with my Movie Maker projects were 100% successful with it. It
supports authoring and burning from either WMV or DV-AVI files.

Although it worked perfectly, MyDVD is at the low end of the scale in terms
of features. Sonic has a number of DVD software packages and their ranking
is right up there at the top in terms of working with Movie Maker files.

See the DVD Software section of my website for comments from others, and
pointers to other DVD software.
