I am trying to install XP on a new system and get the
following stop error:

STOP 0x0000007E (0xC0000005, 0x80577D6F, 0xF7C8994C,
0xF7C8964C)

Does anyone know what this is about. I've tried to look in
the knowledge base and this specific error is not there

Thanks for any information.

Regards,
Michael

Michael;
Probably a driver or BIOS issue.
Update to latest drivers and BIOS.
Look here:
http://aumha.org/win5/kbestop.htm
Look for your error code on the left column.
