Problem With Preview

I Import video from my camera and it's great quality and
all, but when i drag it into the timeline and watch it in
the little window, it's all jerky with lines across it
tht distort the image. In all, this makes it really hard
to work with. When i save the movie as a file, it plays
back in great quality in WMP. It's only when i watch it
in the preview screen it does it.

Does anyone knoe why it does this? Or if there is a
solution.

In tuner mode... so we're talking analog video here, not digital? Use third
party software that came with the PC to capture analog video. MovieMaker
works best with digital video.
