Adjusting Brightness, contract etc

Hi, can anyone tell me what I need to download to get the XP Media Player
controls working. The brightness etc slider controls just swing back to the
middle when I try to use them.

The Contrast and Brightness controls only work with certain codecs; if the
adjustment is not supported in the codec of the clip you are watching, then
you will get exactly the behavior you describe. There is currently no way
to change this.
