When I go to the Microsoft Windows Update website and
have it scan my computer for critical updates, it comes
up with a list of several items, and there is the
statement "Your total selected updates include an
exclusive item that must be installed separtately from
other updates. To install the exclusive item, click
Install Now." The exclusive item is SP1. Will the other
updates automatically download and install after
installing the SP1, or will it be so I can go to the
Windows Update website later for the rest? Could you
please tell me what to expect to happen once I hit
the "install now" to begin the exclusive item install.
Also, right now I have "Automatic Updates" turned off on
my computer. If I install from the website do I need to
turn on Automatic Updates on my computer?
