I have opened a ticket with Microsoft support on this, but I wanted to see
if anyone else might have encountered the problem.

Hardware used
Dell Precision 450
nVidia Quadro FX 500

Problem Description:
In this situation the monitors are NON-DDS compliant monitors. With the
installation of this setup, this is something I cannot change.

The nVidia video card with dual monitor capability. 1st video port is a
standard DB15HD Analog VGA connector. 2nd video port is a DVI connector
with a DVI to DB15HD adapter.
Hook up two NON-DDS compliant monitors to the video card. Only one monitor
will work and Windows XP only shows one monitor as available. Using a
single NON-DDS monitor connected to the video card on either port will work
just fine.

However, if I connect two DDS compliant monitors to the video card,
everything works correctly and I have dual displays.

Install Linux on the computer, configured KDE/GNOME for dual displays and
everything works correctly regardless of which type of monitor I use.

I do not believe this is a video driver problem, becuase if it was then the
Linux installation would not work with the NON-DDS compliant monitors.

Temporary Solution so far is to install an additional PCI video card for the
2nd display and everything works.

If you'd like the SRX number for this problem, please contact me or reply to
the post.
