It sounds like you have 'Automatic Logon' enabled on your
computer. Do disable this, go to Start>Run and
type 'control userpasswords2' (without the quotes). A new
window will appear. Near the top there is a check box
which should be unchecked. Check this checkbox and
click 'Apply' and then 'OK'. This may not work if you are
part of a network.
