I have never come accross a problem like this before. My
suggestions for the cause of this problem would be:
accidental uninstalling of the programs, accidental
deletion of the program files, a trojan or virus on your
computer that has deleted them or they have been
accidently moved elsewhere in the computer.
Because I have not seen this problem before, I assume
that the most likely cause of the problem is a trojan or
virus which is deleting your most commonly used programs
deliberatly. If this is the cause of the problem then a
solution would be to buy some good anti-virus software.
But before you do that, you may wish to download 'Swat
It', a small program that will scan your hard drive
looking for trojans. It is free and can be downloaded
from www.lockdowncorp.com
Good Luck,
Ben.
