No TV-displa when playng dvd from pc

I have established a TV connection to my PC Laptop, and
the picture and sound is fine - also on the TV
When I start DVD on Laptop - the TV-sound is OK - but
the movie-picture is not shown on the TV screen - but it
is OK on the laptop.

Any recommendations ?

I am running XP og Mediadisplayer
