retreiving aol 4.0 address book

I recently got new e-machine and upgraded to cable
modem. My e-mail was with aol 4.0. I would like to get
my address book from that location. Anyway I can?

Hi Michelle,

Assuming you are now using Outlook Express with your new machine:

Log into your old AOL account, create a new message. Send it to everyone in
your address book and include yourself under your new system.

Once you receive the mail on the new system, open it. Click tools/add to
address book/everyone on ToList.

You can't directly import the AOL address book, but this workaround should
help.
