Borders too big!!!!

Hi everyone,

I've had an XP machine for quite a while and have had nothing but
problems with XP itself. The latest problem is that the borders for any
pop-up box is like 2" around the box, as well as the start bar at the
bottom of the screen. I've tried to shrink it with the mouse, clicking
on the edge of the box when the double arrow pops up, but it doesn't do
a thing.

So how do I shrink the borders back to the orginal size?????

Right-click desktop > Properties > Appearance > Advanced
Under Item, choose Active Window Border and set its size to 1 for default,
or any size you like.
