1.How do I work with my old files on 3.5 disks with my
new OS Windows XP Home edtion?
2.I had Internet Explorer and Outlook Express on what is
now my C/ slave drive useing OS Me( which is now gone)
3.I have Internet Explorer and Outlook on my new Master
drive E/ but I have lost contact with my old Internet
Explorer and Outlook Express.Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

There is no reason you cannot use the files on them, floppies use FAT12
regardless of the Operating System in use. In order to use the files, the
same program used to create them should be employed.

The only way you could use IE and OE from the old system would have been to
preserve that old system and create a multiboot system.

Your settings from the old system can be transferred over. If you haven't
deleted them yet, search the old system for the windows\favorites folder and
copy it into your local profile:
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Favorites
For Outlook Express, search for and copy over the .wab file (address book)
and *.dbx (mail files). Then copy them over to the new system, open OE and
click tools/maintenance/store folder and point it to the new location.
