Movie Maker 2 quits

MM2 quits every time I click on a transition or a video effect. I can't seem to make it work. I've reinstalled it, I cannot restore back to when it worked, I've tried most of PoppaJohn's tricks. Any other advice for me?

The same thing happens to me dude........i dont know how to fix it at all i tried everything u did except for papajohn's tricks and my computer is brand new........i need help and i need to fix this soon i have a lot of videos i wanna make.......anyone hav
e any advice???
