disk cleanup/scan disk/defragmenter

On my old machine I set up cleanup/scan disk & defragmenter to run as
scheduled tasks at various times. Cant seem to find do this with XP
Pro. Can anyone help please?

Hi Barbara,

WinXP is not like the Win9x system you previously used, there is no need to
schedule a regular disk scan (called chkdsk in WinXP). The disk cleanup tool
should only be run manually.
