video capture via usb and sony mini dv camera

I can't get xp to recognize my usb connection to my Sony
dcr-pc120 mini dv camera. Can anyone help. I've
uninstalled the usb drivers and reinstalled but it still
doesn't recognize the connection. Thanks, Mike

Mike I had the same problem with my Sharp Mini DV Camera. The only way I got it to work was use a DV Fire wire. The USB works with my Pictures but not with the video. It took me 2 months of playing to figure this out

Thanks, you just helped me as well. I have been trying
for hours with usb, as soon as I read your reply, I
hookked my firewire and yup, no problems. Thanks again!
