Importing address books and emails

I currently have two hard drives fitted in my machine.
The old drive was from my PC with windows 2000 running
outlook express 6. The drive in my new PC is running
Windows XP Professional and outlook express. I have tried
to import both the address book and emails which are
lodged in my old drive but have not succeeded. Is it due
to non compatibility between XP and Wndows 2000 or if not
could you please guide me through the process.

Should be perfectly possible - what error messages do you get?
