When I go to setup at start-up (as instructed) I cannot find out where to disable hyperthreading in the BIOS on my WinXP pro. Anyone help?

Allen,

HTT is not related to Windows operating system.
It is a feature of processor to behave in some way similarly to two separate
processors.

If you want to disable HTT support you must enter your BIOS with DEL key.
And you must find HTT option and disable support for it. If your BIOS does
not support this and you must disable multiprocessor support because you
have some bad driver. Then you can try to use /ONECPU switch in your
boot.ini file.
