File Read Takes Forever

Hi,

When I use Windows Explorer to view the contents of a folderfile with a lot
of folders and files, it takes forever sometimes. It eventually reads all of
them in and starts responding. But while its reading it's locked up doing
its thing.

Any ideas on how to stop this? Is it caching or not caching possibly?
