can't load SP1 on windowsxp pro

Can't load SP1 with Windowsxp Pro

I don't have the Windows XP Pro disk,it was given to me
to install on my computer then I had to give it back.
Now Microsoft is saying to get a product key number,how
can I do that Don't have a CD or ever had one.
can anyone help?

A WinXP CD can be installed on only one machine. You'll have to buy your
own CD.

Since you never had a valid Windows XP license, you'll need to
purchase a "Full Version" of Windows XP Professional and proceed
to perform a "repair install".
