I bought a used HP, installed XP and I have had a printer for years but the software is only for 95, 98 and NT. How can I install my printer on XP?

The printer manufacturers wbsite will have drivers for XP.

Have you checked at the printer manufacturer's website for updated drivers?
What make and model is the printer? XP has a number of printer drivers
built in... use the Add Printer Wizard, install the correct drivers and do
NOT connect the printer until the Wizard tells you to do so.
If it's an old parallel port printer, ensure that the LPT port in the BIOS
is set to EPP.
