Hello
I just installed XP Home on a previous 98se machine, and
when my wife deletes an icon on her desktop, it deletes
it off mine as well.
Also, Outlook (not express) doesn't differentiate between
the users.
I was under the impression each desktop was its' own
desktop, and independant of all other users.

Hi Russ,
She is deleting shared icons from here:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop
To not share one, place it in your user-defined desktop:
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Desktop
Then any changes made will only be made to your profile. For OE, you need to
create identities, click file/identities/"add new...." to start.
