You haven't posted a lot of details beyond the fact that this error is in
the log? Is this actually causing any problems with the system? What
changes, if any were made to the system just prior to the error first
appearing? What is the hard drive configuration on the system?

Have you checked the cables and power line connections to the hard drives?
Do you have the latest firmware installed?

Ronnie,
OK. I was having issues with the APIC function creating pops and clicks in
online games. I read in many forums that disabling this solves the problem.
I disabled that and that problem is solved.
I check the error log every now and then and at this time I see this error.
It seems to log it about 15 times in less then 10 seconds in the admin tools
under system. It is an event number "15" source is "disk" category is
"none" user is N/A. It is an error with the "X" in the red dot type.

I happens irregular and really does not effect anything anything adversly.

Disabling the APIC is not a good idea and could cause the hardware slowdown
and the resulting error message you are seeing. The reason it is not a good
idea is that you cannot simply re-enable the APIC in the BIOS, you will need
to perform a repair installation of XP to get this function back. You can

Well, if you could have heard the squeaks and pops I got when playing online
multiplayer(Hallife mods and BF 1942 mods) you would try anything. It also
lagged the game as well, which is now gone. At this point the error is just
an annoyance. The pops and squeaks that came out of my 6.1 megaworks were
going to damage them. I have NO pops and squeaks now. My audigy 2 card
also works better since it is at a way lower IRQ now.(5)
I will live with the error I guess since it is not effecting system
performance at all. I just wanted to figure it out.

I appreciate the info of APIC. I will dive into that and make a decision
then on reverting back. For now she sounds 150% better then when it was
enabled.

I appreciate the insight. I am aware of the re-enabling options with the
APIC function and that is why I read up on it.
