Notice from Lavasoft re AdAware

Important information:
During the last days several recipients have received an unsolicited
commercial e-mail (spam) with directions on how to download Lavasoft's
software Ad-aware. The spam was sent from the e-mail address
. The website freestuff4free.com and,
accordingly, the e-mail address from which the spam was sent has no relation
whatsoever with Lavasoft or its distributor Element5.

Lavasoft dissociates itself with all kind of spamming and sending of
unsolicited commercial e-mails and has initiated investigations in order to
find out who the entity responsible for the spamming is. We wish to
emphasize that neither Lavasoft nor Element5 had anything to do with the
spam in question.
